Welcome Message from the CEO

It is with enormous pleasure that I would like to introduce Mobility Education Summit 2022 hosted by Emirates Driving Company.

The summit will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from November 14 to 16, to be the first edition and collaborative effort of constructive between Emirates Driving Company and our strategic partner Abu Dhabi Police HQ.

This important event is the first of its kind in the region and the world in the field of mobility and driving education, and it is not only the first global gathering in this field but also the first time that the European Union will present its research on driving education outside Europe. The summit will also gather driving schools from all over the world.

Many of mobility experts are expected to attend, all bringing a mutual passion for road safety education, and a dedication towards developing sustainable driving solutions.

The three-day summit will include panel discussions, workshops and seminars that will focus on important topics which are related to driver education and training, safety awareness, and future of mobility. It will also host prominent experts in this field including European Federation of Driving School Associations and attendees will have the opportunity to meet experts and in the field of mobility and driving education, in addition they will have the chance to experience the smart examination and the AI smart simulator and testing the digital transformation in education.

Established in 2000, Emirates Driving Company is considered the most prominent center for training drivers and enhancing road safety in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, applying best practices in the field of driver training and awareness about road safety in the Emirate.

We aim to achieve this vision by innovating and investing in new technologies and smart operating models, and by forming new and beneficial collaborations through interactive events like the EDC – Mobility Education Summit.

Through the summit, EDC hopes to encourage the development of sophisticated and sustainable training techniques and promote a shift towards transportation education that is based on future and sustainable mobility, technology, and security.

Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre | 14 – 16 November | The First of Its Kind in The World

The EDC Mobility Education Summit, dedicated to driving education and its foundations, is a global initiative launched by the UAE. It is the first of its kind that targets driving schools from across the world, and looks at how they can be progressed to provide a greater level of service and education for future generations.

Hosted at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre and organised by Emirates Driving Company in partnership with Abu Dhabi Police and the Integrated Transport Centre, it aims to accelerate the development of sophisticated and sustainable training techniques, and promote a shift towards transportation education that is based on sustainable mobility, technology, and security.

The summit provides a series of high-level global events, hosted within the presence of the European Driving Schools Association, the Swedish National Association of Driver Educators, the Dutch Institute for Road Safety Research, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and the Global Driving Standards Certification. It is also notable as it is the first time the European Driving Schools Association has presented its research on driving education outside of Europe.

The Mobility and Driving Education Summit is hosted by the Emirates Driving Company in partnership with Abu Dhabi Police and is a global initiative.
First of its kind in the region and the world, the Mobility and Driving Summit is mainly directed towards digital transformation and foreseeing the future in the field of mobility and driving education.
The Summit will set the pace of distinguished and sustainable training and advancing development in the field of future-based mobility, sustainability in mobility and technology.
The summit will be hosting several high-level global institutions related to the field, which include the European Federation of Driving School Associations, the Swedish National Driving Training Consultancy, the Dutch National Center for Road Accident Prevention, the Royal Society for Accident Prevention, and the World Driving Standards Organization.
The European Driving Schools Association will be presenting its research in the field of driving to a nation outside Europe for the first time.
