EFA, the European Driving Schools Association, is a professional association representing the interest of its members with all European, authorities and organizations from 21 European countries. EFA considers concerned with driving instruction, driving instructors’ tuition, driver improvement, further education of novice drivers, environmentally friendly driving and all questions concerning road safety.

Since its inception, Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has been keen to implement the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan`s statement: "The police is the cornerstone of the stability of the country`s security and the spread of peace among its people".

The historical stages through which Abu Dhabi Police had passed for more than 50 years since its establishment (in 1957), are the harvest of the effort and vigilance of loyal leaders and great figures of police personnel. His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, said in his praise of them: "The security and tranquility of our country are the fruit of the efforts of those loyal men, who fulfill their responsibilities and carry out their missions sincerely, day and night, towards their country, their citizens, and towards all those residing in this country. The Police has always lived up to our expectations, as we all realize the great role they play in the face of the radical changes and rapid development the country is witnessing.

The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) was established in 2019 and is the entity responsible for managing the urban planning and transport sectors, and three regional municipalities.

As the entity responsible for supporting the growth and urban development of Abu Dhabi Emirate, the DMT guides, regulate, and monitors urban development activities. The expert authority improves municipal work to provide comprehensive services and creates higher living standards for residents through the supervision and management of the municipalities.

The DMT ensure the highest standard of safety, security, sustainability, and technological development of land, air, and marine transport networks of the Emirate, in line with the highest international standards and UAE legislation.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has been established in November 2016. ITC is the responsible entity for operating public transport and managing parking spaces, traffic monitoring centres, axle weights stations, logistical facilities of freight surface transport and roads sector according to the approved transport plans in which improves the quality of services offered in the sector. In addition to supporting the efforts dedicated by Abu Dhabi Government to accomplish a balanced and comprehensive development that nurtures an intelligent, integrated, and sustainable transport sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
